OUR TRADITION

Poznan is known for celebrating the feast of St. Martin on November 11. The legend tells a story of a soldier, who came one day on his horse, saw a beggar and shared with him his soldier’s coat. In 1891 one baker from Poznan inspired by this story, backed horseshoe-shaped pastries, that later handed out to the poor. Since then, those special croissants are baked in Poznań every year. The sweet croissant with a white poppy seed filling in the EU belongs to the polish products of Protected designation of origin.

Traditionally, the 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐖𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐒𝐊𝐀 company has prepared a unique, original packaging for these croissants
